The Police Department is responsible for providing the community with professional law enforcement services and the protection of all persons and property. The  primary function of the Department is the enforcement of the laws of the State of Illinois and the ordinances of the village in conformity with the Constitution of the United States of America and the State of Illinois. The Department’s goal is to provide the best progressive police service attainable that will contribute in a positive manner to the quality of life in the community that it serves and protects.
